Fuxin is a leader in supplying steel building solutions that are superior in quality, more cost efficient, time saving and environmentally sustainable.
We’re now looking for a Construction Manager who will focus on on-site supervision; and ensure the successful execution of construction projects through hands-on oversight and coordination. You will be directly involved in managing day-to-day activities on the construction site, overseeing subcontractors, and resolving any issues that may arise to keep projects on track. Your role will demand strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a dynamic construction environment.
Your Key Responsibilities:

On-Site Management: Provide direct supervision and leadership on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety protocols. Monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with building codes and regulations.

Subcontractor Coordination: Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services. Manage subcontractor performance, resolve conflicts, and enforce contractual obligations.

Schedule Oversight: Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules, including sequencing of work activities, resource allocation, and critical path analysis. Anticipate potential delays and take proactive measures to keep projects on schedule.

Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to maintain construction standards and achieve project objectives. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify deficiencies and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.

Site Safety Management: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations and best practices on the construction site. Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and audits to promote a culture of safety and prevent accidents or injuries.

Problem Resolution: Address issues and conflicts that arise during construction, including design changes, unforeseen conditions, and scheduling conflicts. Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify solutions and implement changes as needed.

Communication and Reporting: Maintain open and transparent communication with project teams, clients, and stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project progress, milestones, and any issues impacting the schedule or budget. Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation as required.

Cost Control: Monitor project budgets and expenses to ensure cost-effective execution of construction activities. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize resource utilization and minimize waste.

Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget effectively. Evaluate change requests, assess impacts, and communicate implications to relevant stakeholders. Implement changes in accordance with established procedures and protocols.

Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals and objectives. Foster a collaborative work environment, encourage professional development, and provide guidance and support as needed.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in on-site construction management, with a mini-mum of 5 years of hands-on supervision experience.
- Thorough understanding of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
Competencies (Technical & Soft Skill):
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Certification in construction management or related field is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Working Conditions:
- Frequent presence on construction sites, with exposure to various weather conditions and physical demands.
- Regular travel to project sites within the designated area.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or extended hours as needed to meet project deadlines or address urgent issues.
