Position: General Manager

Your Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development
• Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the company’s industrial construction portfolio.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key clients, including Chinese FDI companies, local businesses, and Western clients.
• Develop and implement a sales strategy to enhance revenue growth and market positioning.
• Oversee the preparation of high-quality proposals and tenders to win industrial projects.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and market demands through continuous research and competitive analysis.
Project Oversight & Execution
• Oversee the execution of up to 10 industrial projects concurrently, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, industry regulations, and quality standards.
• Monitor and manage project budgets, cost controls, and profitability to ensure financial efficiency.
• Optimize supply chain and manufacturing processes to improve project execution and cost management.
Leadership & Team Development
• Lead and mentor the sales, business development, and project management teams to achieve company objectives.
• Develop training programs to enhance the capabilities of team members in sales, business operations, and industrial project management.
• Set performance goals and KPIs for the team, conducting regular reviews to ensure high efficiency and productivity.
Client Liaison & Stakeholder Management
• Act as the primary point of contact for high-value clients and stakeholders.
• Develop strategies to retain key clients and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
• Address client concerns promptly and effectively to maintain strong partnerships.
Financial Management & Business Strategy
• Develop and implement revenue growth strategies to achieve business targets.

• Monitor financial performance across projects and optimize cost efficiency through 5S implementation.
• Oversee project budgets, cost analysis, and profitability strategies.
• Provide regular performance reports, including sales pipelines, financial updates, and market trends.
Risk & Compliance Management
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with business development and project execution.
• Ensure all operations comply with local laws, industry regulations, and company policies.
Company Representation & Networking
• Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and trade shows.
• Establish partnerships with key suppliers, subcontractors, and government agencies to foster business growth.

Communication Requirements

Internal:
Collaborate with senior leadership, project teams, and sales teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Provide updates on market trends, business performance, and strategic plans.
External:
Engage with clients, government agencies, and industry networks to strengthen business relationships.
• Manage external partnerships, including suppliers and subcontractors, to enhance operational efficiency.

Your Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, and industrial project sales.
• Proven track record in securing business and managing client relationships, especially with Chinese FDI and local clients.
• Experience in 5S implementation and cost efficiency improvements.
• Knowledge of business, sales, marketing, and finance.
• Experience managing multiple industrial projects simultaneously, with a total value of up to $30 million per year.
• Languages: Fluency in English (written and spoken). Knowledge of Chinese (Mandarin) is a significant advantage.
