Your Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Oversight

Lead and oversee the execution of 10+ industrial construction projects concurrently, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and timeline constraints.

Direct project planning, coordination, and execution, ensuring full compliance with client requirements, industry regulations, and best practices.

Implement project control measures to track progress, mitigate risks, and maintain safety and quality standards.

Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement across all active projects.
Client & Stakeholder Management

Serve as the primary liaison for key stakeholders, including Chinese FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) companies, local businesses, and Western clients.

Foster and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring proactive issue resolution and high client satisfaction.

Coordinate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, regulatory bodies, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.

Lead contract negotiations and ensure stakeholder expectations are met with transparency and professionalism.
Team Leadership & Development

Lead, mentor, and oversee project managers, engineers, and site teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Develop and implement training programs to enhance technical knowledge, leadership skills, and industry best practices.

Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and professional growth opportunities.

Ensure effective resource allocation across projects to optimize productivity and performance.
Risk Management & Problem-Solving

Identify and proactively mitigate potential risks related to budget overruns, project delays, compliance issues, and resource constraints.

Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges while ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.

Lead conflict resolution efforts, addressing disputes between stakeholders, contractors, and project teams.
Budget & Resource Management

Develop and oversee multi-million-dollar project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and financial accountability.

Monitor financial performance, approving invoices, reviewing cost projections, and optimizing spending.

Implement cost-saving initiatives and resource allocation strategies to maximize profitability.
Compliance & Safety Management

Ensure strict adherence to local construction regulations, environmental laws, and workplace safety standards.

Enforce a zero-tolerance safety policy, promoting compliance with all safety protocols and site regulations.

Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure safety, legal, and operational compliance.
Reporting & Documentation

Provide comprehensive project reports to senior management and stakeholders, covering progress, financials, risks, and key milestones.

Maintain detailed documentation of project activities, including contracts, permits, compliance records, and financial reports.

Utilize project management software and reporting tools to enhance transparency and efficiency.
Communication Requirements
Internal:
- Collaborate with senior management, project managers, and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide leadership updates on project performance, risks, and mitigation strategies.
External:
- Engage with clients, government agencies, regulatory bodies, and contractors to ensure smooth project operations.
- Represent the company in industry events and maintain strong professional networks.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on industrial projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple large-scale projects with a total value of up to $30 million per year.
- At least 5 years in a leadership or director-level role.
- Experience working with Chinese FDI, local clients, and Western clients.
- Strong knowledge of industrial construction processes, project requirements, and local regulations in Cambodia.
- Chinese-speaking candidates are preferred (especially from Malaysia or Singapore with ASEAN experience).
- Experience managing multiple construction sites.
